What can you expect if you want to build with Meisterstueck-HAUS?
The following schedule explains the ten most important steps on the way to your own home:
Your ‘rendezvous’ with Meisterstueck-HAUS
Step 1:
Get to know us at your leisure and without obligation: Take a thorough and undisturbed look around our show homes, browse through our website and online videos or study our brochures.
A visit to our ‘transparent production’ in Hamelin, a tour of a customer's home or a visit to one of our current construction sites, where you can experience the assembly of a Meisterstueck home live, will also give you a valuable impression.
Consultancy and analysis
Step 2:
Talk through your ideas with our UK representatives – or maybe you have architect’s plans already? At a site visit you can discuss all the issues at length.
We will listen to you and advise you calmly and in detail. We will discuss with you any questions you may have in connection with the plot, financing, planning, energy concept, construction process, etc.
Architectural planning and design
Step 3:
This can either be an adaptation of one of our designs, or our UK partner architects can design you a house from scratch.
This is where it gets exciting; your dream home begins to take shape. The next step is then the planning permission procedure.
Price calculation & quotation
Step 4:
On the basis of your tailor-made plans, our UK representatives will calculate a price for your dream home including all aspects of the shell house.
Quotation: an offer with security
Step 5:
You will then be presented with an individual price quotation:
- honest,
- transparent
- and detailed.
This will give you the peace of mind that you have the costs of your project under control.
Reassurance
Step 6:
Now is the time to visit the factory in Hamlin, to see us at work, check out the building materials and computer-controlled machinery, and meet the people who will build your house. And if you like, you can experience what it is like to live in a Meisterstueck-HAUS – you are welcome to spend a night in our show home BOX, which is in the grounds of the factory.
During a personal tour of the factory, you can also see for yourself the quality of the building materials used and the precision of the computer-controlled production process. This is also an excellent opportunity to clarify any remaining questions that are close to your heart.
As soon as you have decided on a Meisterstueck house, the realisation phase can begin.
Decision-time
Step 7:
Our UK representatives will prepare a contract with all details of your project and including the fixed price quotation for you to sign.
Once this contract is countersigned by the factory, we are in business together!
Technical details
Step 8:
We will then commission detailed structural calculations for your individual house design, which dictate everything about how the house will be manufactured.
On this basis, detailed works plans will be drawn. We will be asking for specification details from you at this point.
Final contractual meeting
Step 9:
This is when you check every detail of the works plans, and make those all-important final decisions - what should the front door look like, what colour should the woodwork be, etc. After that, the concrete floor slab will be constructed.
Ta-da!
Step 10
On the agreed day, our reliable team of carpenters arrives on site and the first lorry with your house rolls in.
Within a few hours you will be able to enter your kitchen or living room. And within a few days, the house will be watertight and lockable. Amazing.
